The overall management and much of the work of the Society is carried out on a voluntary basis by our six committees.

The UAHS is both a Charity and a Company Limited by Guarantee. The members of the Main Committee are both Directors and Trustees and they oversee the management of the Society.

Many of the Main Committee Members are Chairs or members of sub-committees ensuring that the business of each sub-committee is represented.

It is the level of expertise and energy represented by the members of these committees together with their passion for Ulster's built heritage that is one of the main strengths of the Society.
