BHARNI Catalogue
In addition to the comprehensive online BHARNI Register, seven printed Built Heritage at Risk Northern Ireland catalogues have been published since 1993, with an eighth publication, ‘BAR: Some Options and Solutions', reviewing what had been achieved up to 2000.
Volume 7 is the latest in a series of publications aimed at highlighting the plight of historic buildings at risk throughout Northern Ireland. A wide selection of buildings is featured, representing less than one quarter of the total number on the online BHARNI Register. The 'Good News', 'Bad News' sections give updates on buildings featured in previous catalogues, while the case study section champions successful restoration projects on former buildings at risk.
A hard copy of the catalogue is available free of charge from the UAHS office. By post, £4 is payable to cover postage, packaging and administration.
