Unauthorised Demolition of Listed 'Piney Ridge'


B1 listed 'Piney Ridge', Malone Road, Belfast, was demolished without consent during the Easter holidays. The Society has called upon the DoE to act swiftly to punish this offence, helping ensure that others are deterred from pursuing the same course of action.

The Environment and Heritage Service is currently undertaking a public consultation into the future of their grant aid programme for listed buildings in Northern Ireland. It runs for a period of eight weeks until Friday 18th April 2008.
